Loma (off Rosecrans) called "Gus's" for pastrami once. My friend, even after traveling to many places, still argues that this place serves the best pastrami in the world. I don't consider myself a food expert nor a pastrami connoisseur, so I found that it was just pretty good. But, I say that you give it a shot. It definitely was not a waste of time.
